Real stories of hope, love, and transformation in our community
Founder & Director, MSCASDA
A devout Muslim driven by Islamic principles of compassion and service to humanity, Mr. Sekamatte Zubayiri has dedicated his life to transforming the lives of street children in Uganda. His faith teaches that every life is sacred and every child deserves love, dignity, and opportunityβregardless of their background, race, or religion. Through his tireless efforts and inclusive leadership, hundreds of children have found hope, healing, and a path to brighter futures.
Our Guiding Principle: "In Islam and in humanity, we are all one family. When we help a child in need, we serve God and serve humanity."
On a warm afternoon in Kampala, something extraordinary happened. Mr. Sekamatte Zubayiri, along with a team of dedicated volunteers, embarked on a mission that would touch the hearts of dozens of vulnerable children and families in our community.
The day began with a simple yet powerful act of humility β washing the feet of street children. With basins of clean water and gentle hands, our team knelt before these precious children, cleaning away the dust of the streets and, in many ways, restoring their dignity. The children, some of whom had never experienced such care, held signs reading "Thank You So Much" β though it was us who felt grateful to serve them.
But the outreach didn't stop there. Our team traveled to rural communities, reaching elderly members who often go forgotten. Mr. Sekamatte personally handed supplies and support to those in need, crossing muddy roads and challenging terrain to ensure no one was left behind.
The highlight of the day came when we gathered all the children for a celebration feast. Two beautiful cakes stood on the table as dozens of happy children raised their hands in joy, their faces beaming with smiles. Signs reading "Thank You For Support" and "A Big Meal" captured the gratitude that filled the air.
Finally, the moment every child had been waiting for β gift distribution! Colorfully wrapped gift boxes were handed to each child, bringing squeals of delight and tears of joy. For many of these children, it was the first gift they had ever received.
